Feldman, Robboy, Cohn - Had you read the followup N&O article that gave
a more complete account of the Chapel Hill meeting, it would have
cleared up the confusion evident in your letter as to exactly who was
being "demonized." Certainly, Council member Maria Palmer made clear her
belief it was the Israelis who were hostile to the local citizens
(including some Jewish) and not the other way around.

WHO DESERVES CHASTISING AND WHO DESERVES AN APOLOGY?
I too wish members of the Jewish faith community had been present at the
meeting between the Knesset members and the Chapel Hill Town Council.
Feldman, Robboy and Cohn would have witnessed something quite different
than what they portray in their April 24 letter to the editor titled ”Do
not demonize.”
I doubt that they would have portrayed our inter-faith peace advocacy
group as “hostile” after hearing our lead spokesman, a retired Episcopal
minister, address the Knesset members as brothers and sisters. I doubt
